CENTER FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION

Research and Development organization which focuses on fostering social innovation that can bring about a positive change to local, national, regional and global contexts.CSI belief, is that the four pillars of Social Interaction, Education, Development and Economic Rationalization coupled with fundamentally sound and sustainable solutions as well as disruption to streamlined solutions to systemic social problems can lead to creative solutions that impact significant change to the social fabric of every society.

CSI is working closely to address market, social, economic and cultural challenges with governments, local administrative agencies, non for profit agencies, commercial entities, and educational institutions. CSI identifies and address systemic challenges through evidence based research, state of the art investigation of global, national, regional and local solutions, developing solutions by taking into consideration the local ecosystem, cultural dynamics, meet the stakeholders needs and implementing those solutions as we keep constant vigilance to ensure continual feedback loop and adjustments.

UNIVERSITY OF BUCHAREST

One of the most important institutions of higher education in Romania with 151 years of existence and a solid national and international prestige. The survey conducted in 2007 by "The Times Higher Education Supplement" posted University of Bucharest among the top 500 in the world. The most important database, Scopus Custom Data, with the highest score – 4645, among other universities in the country. University of Bucharest is integrated into a strong network of international collaboration: 300 bilateral cooperation agreements with universities in 52 countries. In 2000, University of Bucharest received the Diploma of Excellence conferred by the Ministry of Education.

In 2011, University of Bucharest was classified by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports as the first university of advanced research and education. On 6 September 2011, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has revealed that the Bucharest University was the first university of advanced research and education of the 100 research in Romania. According to the results of the global ranking of universities, conducted by Quacquarelli Symonds Limited in 2009, University of Bucharest is categorized 500-550.

UNIVERSITY OF THESSALY

With 37 Departments and 8 schools, it is a University with its own identity and with a prominent position in our national educational system, providing undergraduate and postgraduate programs and extra-curricular modules in specific research and business fields, for over 43000 students. Its main mission is the promotion of scientific knowledge through research and the contribution to the cultural and economic development of the local community and wider society. It is known for its excellent research performance and outstanding scientific achievements, in accordance with the international standards.

The excellent equipped Laboratories of the different Departments and Research Units have a number of well-trained researchers to support them. The institutional goals aim to strengthen its cooperation’s abroad, increase its human resources, upgrade and utilize existing human resources, attract young scientists and encourage research through the creation of modern research structures, increase infrastructure and utilize its assets and funds from the EU with the research programmes Horizon 2020, RFSR, FP6, FP7, INTERREG and LIFE. The members of the academic and research staff participate in European research networks and numerous innovative research projects in the EC.

INOVA CONSULTANCY LTD

Inova has specialist experience in running workshops, training courses and mentoring programmes aimed at women starting up or developing their business. Inova has also developed personal development/soft skills development workshops and developed the innovative training methodology of Mentoring Circles for women entrepreneurs in the UK and in building soft and hard skills in females. Inova has extensive networks of individuals and organisations committed to increasing the numbers of women in under-represented courses and careers e.g. self-employment, across Europe and has vast experience of working on transnational projects, understanding dissemination, mainstreaming and evaluation requirements. Inova represents WiTEC (European Association of Women in Science, Engineering and Technology) and has access to 10 countries in Europe working on gender issues.

Over 15 years, the organisation has helped many entrepreneurs to develop and grow their businesses and in 2008 Inova’s Director, Marina Larios, and Inova were recognised by SFEDI (Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative) in the UK for the services provided to business start-ups through mentoring programmes for women in the South Yorkshire region. Recent projects which are focused on empowering females and promoting gender equality include FENCE, Advancing Migrant Women, Global FemArt, FREE, and others. Aside from the project trainings, Inova offers one-to-one business coaching.

INNOVED

Greek newly established educational and consulting organization merely focusing on knowledge and innovation transfer in the broader fields of education, lifelong learning and training; entrepreneurship and employment aspects; non formal learning and training methods with the usage of modern technologies. The main mission of INNOVED is the promotion of knowledge, educational practices and opportunities to the cultural and economic development of the local community and wider society. In order to accomplish its mission, It is operating in order to achieve to encourage, support and promote the innovative spirit in various areas such as: Education and Training; Social inclusion and intercultural dialogue; Innovative methodologies and practices around the entrepreneurial mindset; Disabilities and empowerment; Non formal practices in education and training provision.

It emphasizes on the social inclusion of disadvantaged and marginalized groups and the overall empowerment of individuals through the provision of innovative and integrated educational solutions tailored to meet the explicit needs of the various groups. More particularly the organization focuses on the activating participation of interested parties with different backgrounds on initiatives that entitle people to a better future (whether professionally or at a personal level) through self-empowerment

CASA DO PROFESSOR

Casa do Professor (“Teacher's home”) is a social solidarity association, born on 1979, with public utility status since 1999 and gold medal of merit in 2006. In 2018, with the commitment of Excellence won two stars, from the European Foundation for Quality Management, in management, a distinction conferred by the Portuguese Quality Association, creating the first association in the country to obtain this international recognition. It supports teachers at all levels of education by promoting socially oriented initiatives, scientific training, cultural and recreational activities. In the benefit of about 11,000 associates, which added their respective families, so the focus is not solely in their professional lives, but also extends to their personal and family considerations.

The association purposes to dignify teachers, reinforcing the nobility of their profession, which is why it seeks to streamline activities with a professional and social intervention and cultural dynamics. This mission is only achieved by appealing to their hundred partners, from different areas of knowledge. All the activities are assumed with high professionalism and deep commitment so the teacher always feels respected, cherished and happy. Casa do Professor is the place of union for all teachers.
